Tuning: B E A D G C F

This instrument was custom made for me in 2001 by Hanewinckel Guitars. For most performances I use my Eden WT-405 Time Traveler or WT-800 heads and one or two Eden CXM-110 speaker cabinets.

 

In some respects, the 7-sting electric bass more closely resembles a viola da gamba than it does its ancestor the double bass bass due to its size, the number of strings and presence of frets.
